The 9jaStudio Story
Our Nollywood Movie Series productions are unique in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry because we give leading and support roles to new young actors that have been through our Screen Acting Boot Camp (SABC) training.
Our stories viscerally focus on the real-life youth struggles and realities of living and growing up in Nigeria.

"Talent Thrives Through Training Together"
"Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance"
"Discipline Dictates, Dedication, Determination, and Drive".
The above maxims are what I learned when I trained at the Anna Scher Theatre in Islington, London. They are part of everything we do at 9jaStudio. They were and still are an integral part of my journey and also those of the new young creatives we train at 9jaStudio.

Frank, is a man who believes that young people deserve to be heard. He started 9jaStudio because he saw a gap in the market for youth-focused content, and believes that young people—the future of Nigeria—should have their stories told and be trained to a high level of proficiency to enable them successfully achieve this.
9jaStudio’s primary purpose is to create compelling and entertaining youth-focused content that explores stories and themes that the Nigerian entertainment industry tends to avoid. Content that explores the issues facing Nigerian youth and provides opportunities for young people to gain valuable experiences and skills.
9jaStudio’s goal is to train and nurture success for our current employees and all young creatives who have passed through our Screen Acting Boot Camp and other creative pieces of training. People who want to make a difference in the world around them.
9jaStudio enables young people to gain valuable experiences, paid employment and teaches transferable skills.
9jaStudio’s in-house productions are unique in the industry by giving leading and support roles to the young actors who have been through its Screen Acting Boot Camp training. Our stories focus on real-life youth struggles and the realities of living and growing up in Nigeria.
9jaStudio’s debut drama series called “UniLife” is a gripping and poignant portrayal of the daily struggles and triumphs of a group of young students navigating the tumultuous journey towards adulthood at a Nigerian university.
Through their personal stories, we witness the stark contrast between their public personas and their true selves, grappling with the pressures of societal expectations, peer pressure and self-discovery.
However, the narrative turns dark when a student's body is discovered murdered, sending shockwaves through the campus community. As the investigation unfolds, secrets are exposed and loyalties are tested, exposing the raw emotions and vulnerabilities of the characters.
With its richly drawn characters and complex plot, UniLife is a heart-wrenching and thought-provoking tale that will leave you on the edge of your seat and emotionally invested in the fates of the students.
